Location info
Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel is a mixed bag - my room was not ideal being small and seemingly built for a handicap person, but the staff was accommodating and helped create a smooth experience. The location, though needing a deep cleaning, perfectly situated next to Ala Moana Shopping Center, offered convenience, while the dining options were overpriced but extensive. The facilities were standard but nothing to write home about.
The hotel is conveniently located near Ala Moana Center and Waikiki downtown, making it a great spot for visitors who want easy access to shopping centers and attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but it's worth noting that incidentals are handled through a company other than the hotel. The service provided is reliable, although inquiries need to be directed to LSI by phone. The dining experience is pleasant, especially at the Plantation Cafe, but side dishes are not included in the room rate.
The hotel is conveniently located near Ala Moana Shopping Center and within walking distance to the North and South ends of Waikiki. The rooms are well-equipped, however, the service is lacking in terms of availability for certain requests. The dining experience is satisfactory, and the facilities offer comfort and convenience.
Our pre-cruise hotel was a mixed bag with a great view of our cruise ship from the room but lacking cleanliness and with broken balcony furniture. The location was excellent for beach access and shopping, while the service felt distant and not entirely helpful. Dining was pricey, and not much was complimentary. However, it offered convenient facilities for a short stay.
The hotel offers rooms that can't be helped by the hotel staff at a reasonable price. While it was advertised for a king-size bed or two doubles, it was within sufficient LSI housekeeping hours. The service, though not overly friendly, is efficient between regular hotel and LSI units, and any issues were sorted out promptly through LSI resorts. The location is pretty good, being convenient for public transportation and shopping, but there were missed opportunities to correct some situations and improve. The dining is not complimentary but extensive, which can make it expensive.
As a pre-cruise hotel with a view of our cruise ship, this hotel offers OK rooms which are owned by private individuals and in need of repairs. The shower curtain rod is coming out of the wall, and the balcony slider door doesn't lock. The service is robot-like and lacks friendliness, especially for early travellers. The location is good for exploring Waikiki and next to Ala Moana Center. The dining should be complimentary but is expensive, and the Plantation Cafe offers an extensive yet pricey buffet.
